Poets in Protest Reading Series: Keondra Bills Freemyn w/ Malik K. Thompson

We're launching a new series with poet Malik Thompson to celebrate the community work and dynamic change within poetry.

About this Event

Join us for a reading and conversation between local poets Keondra Bills Freemyn and Malik K. Thompson at Loyalty Books. Keondra will be reading from her debut collection things you left behind, and the conversation will center on Freemyn's relationship to her first book, the significance of Black/queer/woman literary ancestors, and writing as a practice of actualization. There will be time for audience Q&A and Freemyn will be selling copies of things you left behind. We hope to see you there!
